Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology in Houston/Texas region with CSL Vifor delivers portfolio solutions to nephrology and dialysis settings. Responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning within the territory, engaging nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations, and maintaining up-to-date call records. Travel daily within Central and South Texas (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen) to promote products, build relationships with physicians, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals, and to analyze sales performance to adjust business plans. Demonstrates advanced disease-state knowledge and product knowledge, collaborates with commercial partners, and represents CSL professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
