Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in Central and South Texas. Responsibilities include conducting all aspects of sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products; engaging nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations; frequent travel within the territory (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen) to promote products; maintaining up-to-date field activity records; collaborating with Commercial partners; and delivering disease-state and product knowledge to key customers. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in pharma sales, with preference for Nephrology/renal experience, and a proven track record in account-based selling and complex marketplaces. Travel-heavy role with emphasis on territory growth and relationship building across physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
