Job Summary
As Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in Central and South Texas, you will execute sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products. You will engage with nephrology-focused health care professionals in office, hospital, and dialysis settings, travel daily within the assigned territory (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen, TX), and promote portfolio products to nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and related staff. You will demonstrate advanced disease-state knowledge, maintain up-to-date call records, collaborate with Commercial partners, analyze sales performance, and represent the company professionally while building relationships across the marketplace. Responsibilities include territory planning, customer engagement, product promotion, and reporting to support growth in the nephrology and renal dialysis space. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience (nephrology/renal/dialysis preferred), with a proven track record in account-based selling and complex marketplace navigation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
