Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for driving sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology portfolio in Central and South Texas. You will engage nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations, promoting product knowledge and advancing disease-state understanding. Responsibilities include field-based territory management across San Antonio, Houston, Austin, and McAllen, with daily travel to engage key customers, establish relationships, analyze performance, and deliver reports. Strong emphasis on account management, multi-channel relationship building, and collaboration with Commercial partners to achieve sales goals in hospital, IDN, and nephrology settings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- experience in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis (highly preferred)
- proven track record as a top sales performer
- account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
- experience working within IDN systems (highly preferred)
