Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in Houston/Texas territory. Responsible for end-to-end sales activities, market development, and strategic planning for company nephrology products. Engage with health care professionals treating renal conditions (nephrologists, dialysis providers, hospitals, and related staff) within the Central and South Texas territory. Travel daily within the assigned territory (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen, TX) to call on physicians, health systems, dialysis organizations, and other key customers; promote product portfolio; demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge; establish and maintain relationships across marketplace networks; analyze sales performance and adjust business plans; maintain call reports and paperwork; collaborate with Commercial partners. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with preference for nephrology-related experience and IDN exposure. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
