Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in the Houston-Calo region with daily travel across the Central and South Texas territory (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen, TX). Responsibilities include executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology portfolio; engaging nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations; promoting product benefits to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; maintaining disease-state and product knowledge; analyzing sales performance, and adjusting business plans; maintaining up-to-date call records and reporting; representing CSL publicly and collaborating with Commercial partners. Requires building positive relationships within marketplace networks, and prior pharmaceutical sales success in Nephrology/Renal/Dialysis is preferred; experience with IDN systems is highly preferred. Bachelor’s degree required and 5+ years of sales experience in pharma are highly preferred.
