Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology – oversee sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products within Central and South Texas (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen). Daily travel within the assigned territory to call on nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and their staff; promote portfolio to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals. Demonstrate advanced disease-state and product knowledge, analyze sales performance, adjust business plans, maintain call records, and collaborate with Commercial partners to drive growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
