Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology role focused on selling nephrology/renal therapies across Central and South Texas (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen). Responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products; engage with nephrologists, dialysis organizations, hospitals, and healthcare staff; maintain territory travel and field activity, build relationships, demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge, analyze sales performance, and collaborate with commercial partners. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in pharmaceutical sales with nephrology/renal exposure; travel within the territory is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
