Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology covering Central and South Texas (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen). Responsible for executing all aspects of sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products; engage with nephrology healthcare professionals in office, hospital, and dialysis settings; daily travel within the assigned territory; call on nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and their staff to promote the portfolio; demonstrate advanced disease state and product knowledge; establish positive relationships within marketplace networks; analyze sales performance and adjust plans; maintain up-to-date call records and reporting; represent the company professionally; collaborate with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
