Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for driving sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products across Central and South Texas (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen). Engage nephrologists, hospitals, dialysis centers, and related staff; promote portfolio across office, hospital, and dialysis settings; demonstrate advanced disease-state and product knowledge; develop and adjust business plans; maintain call records and reports; travel daily within the territory; collaborate with Commercial partners to achieve growth targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ pharmaceutical sales experience
- Experience selling to nephrology/renal care providers
- Account management experience
- Knowledge of dialysis and nephrology market dynamics
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field
- 5+ years’ pharmaceutical or nephrology sales experience
- Proven track record in account-based selling
- Experience with IDN systems (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of nephrology, dialysis, and renal therapies
- Willingness to travel daily within assigned territory
