Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology in Central and South Texas responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology portfolio. Daily travel within the assigned territory to engage nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations; call on physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; promote product knowledge and disease state understanding of renal therapies; build positive relationships across marketplace networks; analyze sales performance and adjust business plans; maintain call records and submit reports. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience (preferably in Nephrology/Renal/Dialysis) and a proven track record in account-based selling. Territory includes San Antonio, Houston, Austin, and McAllen, TX; travel is required; collaboration with Commercial partners and representation of CSL Vifor externally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
