Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products in Central and South Texas (territory includes San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen). Engage nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and related staff; travel daily within the territory; promote portfolio to physicians, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge, maintain call records, and collaborate with Commercial partners to achieve sales objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry (Nephrology, Renal, Dialysis preferred)
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
- Knowledge of nephrology, dialysis, hospital/IDN sales is preferred
