Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology in the Houston area responsible for end-to-end sales, market development, and strategic planning across assigned Texas territory (Central and South Texas including San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen). Engage with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and their staff; promote portfolio across physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals. Travel daily within the territory; build relationships, analyze sales performance, and adjustBlueprint business plans. Maintain up-to-date call records and collaborate with commercial partners to drive product knowledge and disease-state education across renal specialties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
