Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing all aspects of sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products within Central and South Texas (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen, TX). Engage with nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and their staff to promote product portfolio; travel within the assigned territory; call on physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals, and other key customers; demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge, analyze sales performance, adjust business plans, maintain call records, and collaborate with Commercial partners to represent CSL Vifor professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- experience in Nephrology, Renal, or Dialysis preferred
- account-based selling experience
- account management experience in a complex, competitive marketplace
- willingness to travel daily within assigned territory
