Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for nephrology responsible for executing all aspects of sales, market development, and strategic planning within the territory. Engage with nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations, promoting portfolio of company products. Daily travel within the assigned territory; build and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, and hospital staff; demonstrate disease state and product knowledge; analyze sales performance and adjust plans; maintain up-to-date call records and reports; collaborate with commercial partners and represent the company professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
