Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing all aspects of sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products across the Central and South Texas territory. You will engage with nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations, call on physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals, and related staff, demonstrate advanced disease state and product knowledge, travel daily within the assigned territory (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen, TX), establish positive relationships across marketplace networks, analyze sales performance and adjust the business plan, maintain up-to-date call records and submit reports, represent the company professionally, and collaborate with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
