Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for executing all aspects of sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products within Central and South Texas. Daily travel to and work within the assigned territory (Austin, San Antonio, Houston, McAllen) to call on nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations, and other key customers; promote product portfolio; demonstrate disease state and product knowledge; maintain up-to-date call records; collaborate with commercial partners; and influence territory performance through strategic account management and field activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
