Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology covering Central and South Texas territories (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen). Responsibilities include executing all aspects of sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products; engaging with nephrology-focused healthcare professionals in office, hospital, and dialysis settings; daily travel within assigned territory; calling on nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations and their staff; promoting product benefits to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals, and others; demonstrating disease state and product knowledge; maintaining up-to-date call records and reports; representing the company professionally; collaboration with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
