Job Summary
Area Sales Manager to lead sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products in Central and South Texas; engage with nephrologists, health systems, hospitals, and dialysis organizations; travel within assigned territory; promote portfolio to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists; demonstrate disease-state knowledge and product knowledge; build positive relationships across marketplace networks; analyze sales performance and adjust business plan; maintain call records and reports; represent CSL professionally; collaborate with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
