Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology overseeing sales, market development, and strategic planning within a specified Texas territory (Central and South Texas including San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen). Responsibilities include engaging nephrologists, health systems, dialysis organizations and staff to promote company products; maintaining up-to-date call records; travel within the assigned territory; building positive relationships across healthcare networks; analyzing sales performance and adjusting business plans; representing the company professionally; and collaborating with Commercial partners. Requires strong product and disease-state knowledge in nephrology, dialysis, and renal specialties, plus experience in account-based selling and territory management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry preferred in Nephrology/Renal/Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
