Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology covering Central and South Texas (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen). Responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology product portfolio; engaging nephrology-focused health care professionals in office, hospital, and dialysis settings; maintaining up-to-date call records and reports; traveling within the assigned territory; promoting product benefits to physicians, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals, and other key customers; developing positive relationships within marketplace networks; and collaborating with Commercial partners to drive sales performance and product knowledge across the territory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience selling in Nephrology, Renal, Dialysis is highly preferred
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Renal, Dialysis, Nephrology, Specialty pharma, Rare Disease, and Hospital sales experience (preferred)
- Experience working within IDN systems is highly preferred
