Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in Central and South Texas (Houston, San Antonio, Austin, McAllen) with daily travel within the assigned territory. Responsible for executing all aspects of sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products; engaging nephrology healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists) and dialysis organizations; promoting product portfolio across hospitals, health systems, and nephrology clinics; building and maintaining relationships within the territory; analyzing sales performance and adjusting the business plan; maintaining up-to-date call records and reports; representing CSL Vifor professionally; collaborating with Commercial partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry (Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis highly preferred)
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
- Experience working within IDN systems is highly preferred
