Job Summary
Area Sales Manager, Nephrology in Texas and surrounding regions drives sales, market development, and strategic planning for nephrology products. Responsibilities include engaging nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations; promoting portfolio to physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists, hospitals, and other staff; maintaining advanced disease state and product knowledge; maintaining up-to-date call records and reports; traveling within the assigned territory (Central and South Texas) to execute sales initiatives; collaborating with Commercial partners, and analyzing performance to adjust the business plan. The role requires building positive relationships across marketplace networks, and delivering professional representation of the company externally and internally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
