Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for nephrology in the designated Texas territory, responsible for executing sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products; engage nephrologists, health systems, and dialysis organizations; frequent travel within the territory; promote portfolio to physicians, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, and hospitals; demonstrate disease-state and product knowledge, analyze sales performance, maintain call records, and collaborate with Commercial partners to advance sales within Central and South Texas (San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen, TX).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry
- experience in Nephrology/Renal/Dialysis preferred
- account-based selling
- account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
