Job Summary
Area Sales Manager for Nephrology in Central and South Texas (Territory includes San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen). You will execute sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products, engaging nephrologists, dialysis organizations, hospitals, and related staff to promote portfolio products. Expect daily travel within the assigned territory, call on health care professionals (physicians, nurses, renal dietitians, pharmacists), demonstrate disease state and product knowledge, build productive relationships across marketplace networks, analyze sales performance, and collaborate with Commercial partners. Requires a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of pharma sales experience (nephrology/renal/dialysis preferred), and a proven top-sales track record; strong account management and knowledge of IDN systems are highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience selling in the pharmaceutical industry, highly preferred in Nephrology, Renal, and/or Dialysis
- Proven track record as a top sales performer
- Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling
- Account management experience navigating in a complex, competitive marketplace
