Job Summary
Area Sales Manager leading and managing the sales team in the Emerging Corporate sector within Kolkata. Responsible for driving sales growth, building and nurturing client relationships, and ensuring achievement of business targets. Develop and implement sales strategies, lead by example in acquiring new clients, manage relationships with existing clients, drive lead generation, identify new markets and penetration strategies, and promote cross-selling of retail banking products. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to maximize team productivity while ensuring compliance with regulatory policies and reporting systems.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline
- 6-10 years of experience in sales leadership or related finance/corporate sector
- Proven ability to lead sales teams, achieve targets, and develop client relationships
- Strong competencies in Sales Leadership, Customer Relationship Management, Business Planning, Networking, Financial Acumen
- Experience in cross-selling financial products and market expansion
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in banking/finance sectors
