Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for leading and mentoring a high-performing sales team across assigned communities, driving sales performance, margin enhancement, and on-site leadership. Duties include staffing, training, and motivating the sales team, directing visits to communities to assess operations and refine strategies, leading sales meetings, coordinating with the Director of Sales, monitoring mortgage statuses and closings, and promoting community engagement through events and initiatives. The role requires coaching New Home Consultants, setting clear goals, fostering collaboration, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and adapting strategies to product lines and customer segments to maximize market penetration. Strong emphasis on communication, organization, and the use of MS Office and sales management software; regular in-person attendance at communities and job sites is essential. Prior experience with a homebuilder and a proven track record in sales leadership are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years in residential sales, sales management, or real estate management
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
