Job Summary
Drive sales of Biotage instruments and consumables in the South of India, including flash chromatography systems, microwave and peptide synthesizers, solvent and nitrogen evaporators, automated sample prep, plasmid purification, and scale-up systems. Develop and execute strategic plans to meet customer needs and achieve account growth; build and maintain B2B relationships with key customers; identify and qualify new leads, develop KOLs, and close deals through technical presentations and negotiations; represent Biotage at conferences and events; provide post-sales support, accurate forecasts, and meet sales targets; demonstrate products, manage demos and quotes within pricing; maintain CRM records in Salesforce and generate required reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, Biological Sciences, or related field; MBA/PGDBM in Marketing is highly desirable
- Solid demonstrated experience in direct sales and service experience in chemical/biological sciences
- Strong understanding of the Indian market and customer landscape
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and MS Office
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
