Job Summary
Area Sales Manager II leads, trains, and oversees Sales & Merchandising representatives and Direct Store Delivery staff within the Little Rock, AR territory. Builds and maintains relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and store personnel; drives new accounts and increased distribution; ensures in-store merchandising space, SKU availability, and effective POS placement; coordinates ride-alongs with Sales & Merchandising and DSD teams; uses CRM analytics to optimize routing, track account activity, and inform sales strategies; performs quarterly blitzes with regional teams and supports promotions and events. Requires strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills, the ability to create and deliver customer-focused presentations, and travel up to 90% within the territory. Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred. Experience: minimum three years in beverage sales and at least one year in a supervisory role. Fluency in English, reliable transportation, and legal ability to work in the USA are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years of sales experience in the beverage industry (preferably non-alcoholic Direct Selling)
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial position
- Proficient in computer usage with MS Office
- Experience with sales management software and CRM tools
- Willingness to travel up to 90% within the territory
- Legally authorized to work in the USA
- Valid driver license and active auto insurance
