Job Summary
Partner with distributor staff and contractors to execute growth plans, develop partnerships with utility companies and builders, and sell the value proposition of Mitsubishi whole home solutions. Prepare territory analysis, administer sales training and annual reviews, and develop distributor personnel proficient in application and installation methods. Grow the Diamond Contractor base, develop residential market strategy using data, and maintain contractor information in Salesforce. Travel up to 50% within the assigned Central and Southern Ohio territory for meetings and events. Report monthly on market conditions and consistently meet annual performance goals.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years+ sale experience preferably in the HVAC industry
- 5 years+ calling on the residential and mechanical contractors
- Familiar with HVAC wholesale and dealer organizations
- Demonstrated communication skills both verbally and written
- Able to understand and execute business plans, (Distributor, Contractor, ETC.)
- Basic to proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office products
- Familiar with salesforce, a plus
- Demonstrated public speaking skills to both small and large groups
- Experience with Continuous Improvement/Lean Organization to include participation in Kaizen event(s)
- Must reside in the Business Unit Territory/Geography
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
- Team player demonstrating METUS core values including a desire to win together, deliver excellence, drive sustainability, focus on execution and learn continuously
- Willing to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory for distributor, dealer, trade organization meetings and outside of the assigned territory for various company meetings
