Job Summary
Partner with local distributors and wholesalers to promote the Electrolit brand portfolio to retailers, driving sales growth in the Detroit territory in line with targets. Lead, train, and oversee Sales & Merchandising and Direct Store Delivery representatives, conducting regular team calls to establish action plans, address out-of-stock issues, and coordinate in-store operations. Join reps on ride-alongs to support selling, merchandising, and relationship management while ensuring prime in-store space, SKU availability, and strategic POS placements. Maintain equipment, racks, and signage, and utilize CRM software to track account activity, optimize routing, and analyze visit reports for strategy improvements. Establish new accounts, maintain strong relationships with retail owners and managers, and participate in evening promotions and trade shows as needed. Travel up to 90% of the time within the assigned territory, requiring a valid driver's license and active auto insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years of sales experience in the beverage industry
- preferably non-alcoholic Direct Selling experience in the beverage industry
- At least one (1) year in a supervisory or managerial position
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Proficient in computer usage
- working knowledge of MS Office
- Experience with sales management software
- CRM tools
- Highly motivated and target-driven
- proven sales track record
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 90% within the assigned territory
- Travel at least 90% of the time for customer visits, company events, or long-distance travel within the assigned territory
- Legally authorized to work in the USA
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver license
- active auto insurance policy
- Fluent in English
- Ability to sit for extended period of times while driving to locations
- Ability to stand, walk, occasionally lift, and carry objects (up to 40 pounds)
