Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for driving revenue for Hyatt Place Bloomington and affiliated locations by proactively engaging corporate clients, individual travelers, tour groups, meeting planners, and travel agencies to book hotel accommodations and meeting spaces. Maintain and grow specific markets (corporate accounts, government, and FITs); conduct cold calls weekly; perform maintenance visits with top accounts; present and tour properties to potential customers; coordinate with onsite teams to ensure smooth transitions from booking to stay; participate in monthly sales meetings and represent the hotel at chamber events, travel shows, and other opportunities; uncover new sales opportunities in neighboring cities. Must be energetic, motivated, with hospitality sales experience a plus, and have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
