Job Summary
Area Sales Manager role focusing on growing funded deals by partnering with automotive dealers, onboarding and managing dealer growth, and training dealers in Western Funding’s financing programs. The role requires consultative sales with Independent and Franchise dealers, relationship-building at all management levels, lead follow-up, prospecting, and ongoing communication to drive program adoption. Responsibilities include presenting company products, identifying and contacting dealer prospects, maintaining dealer partnerships, facilitating fast funding documentation, and traveling up to 75% of the time. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred), strong knowledge of Automotive/Finance/Sales, and proficient MS Office skills; bilingual abilities (Spanish) are a plus; effective presentation and interpersonal skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (required)
- College degree or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- 1-2 years’ previous experience in a challenging sales role with a proven track record of success
- Strong knowledge of Automotive, Finance and Sales
- Strong Presentation skills
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Fluency in Spanish a plus
