Job Summary
Area Sales Manager responsible for maximizing hotel revenue through direct client contact and phone sales of guest rooms, developing and maintaining an account base, and achieving weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Requires prospecting, cold calling, site tours, proposal preparation, attendance at trade shows/events, and effective communication with clients and hotel departments. Must leverage the Delphi tool for account tracking, maintain accurate records, and represent the hotel at events while upholding brand standards and delivering strong guest service. Hotel-brand experience and proficiency with MS Word and Excel are required; college degree preferred; strong verbal/written communication and a sales/customer-service orientation are essential.
