Job Summary
Area Sales Manager to drive adoption of the DEXTER robotic surgical system within a defined U.S. territory. Develop and execute territory business plans, identify and advance opportunities across ASCs, hospitals, IDNs, academic medical centers, and VA facilities; build relationships with surgeons and administrators; lead full sales cycle from prospecting to closing; deliver compelling product demonstrations; maintain a robust CRM pipeline; collaborate with Clinical, Marketing, Training, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful account launches; identify key opinion leaders to support market adoption; attend conferences and events to generate demand; drive utilization growth and customer satisfaction within the installed base; provide market intelligence and competitive insights to support commercial strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience 7+ years of medical device sales
- Experience selling capital equipment, surgical robotics, OR technologies, or similar
- Proven ability to navigate complex healthcare sales with multiple stakeholders
- Experience working with ASCs, hospital systems, IDNs, academic medical centers, and physician leadership
- Startup/launch/high-growth commercial experience preferred
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and account management skills
- Data-driven territory planning, pipeline management, and forecasting
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus
- Excellent communication and executive presence
