Job Summary

Area Sales Manager responsible for improving distribution in WD/TC and retail stores in top market; design the short-term strategy of the responsible area, develop detailed action plans, and lead a sell-in team to meet business targets including sales volume, product mix, PD collection, and new business development. Drive WD channel development by developing qualified WD partnerships, manage distributor relationships, supervise WD stock and POS coverage, and lead monthly sales meetings to implement sell-through policies. Monitor AR collection, provide solutions for PD issues, and deliver product/service consulting to customers. Train WD sales teams and retail clients to continuously improve sales capacity, with significant travel and non-traditional work hours. Knowledge of lead-acid technical aspects preferred; strong planning, negotiation, and data-analysis skills required to support sustainable growth across the region.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, engineering, or other appropriate discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with 5 years of aftermarket channel experience in automotive industry
  • Minimum of 3 years leadership experience
  • Good business, financial and legal acumen
  • Strong business planning and development capability
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Logic thinking and strong problem solving ability
  • Ability to analyze data to business conclusion
  • Technical knowledge of lead-acid preferred
