Area Sales Manager

Area Sales Manager based in Mackay responsible for managing a mix of direct and indirect accounts in the protective coatings/ paints coatings industry; responsibilities include developing and managing a portfolio of customers (applicators, fabricators, and engineering contractors), identifying new opportunities and securing specifications, converting leads to sales, collaborating cross-functionally to align with regional strategies and drive profitability, maintaining CRM records, delivering business reviews, contributing to forecasting and stock management, regularly calling on assigned customers to maintain market activity, and supporting operations and stock planning while monitoring customer satisfaction and overdue accounts; required skills include sales in paints/coatings (marine/protective preferred), relationship-building, negotiation and influencing, technical aptitude for product applications, with desirable NACE CIP Level 2 or FROSIO certification.
