Job Summary
Area Sales Coordinator position responsible for increasing room revenue by soliciting and developing business with transient, group, corporate, travel-agent, and consortia accounts; conduct site visits and tours, entertainment of qualified clients, and attendance at client events; build relationships with third parties and sales organization; develop action plans, client proposals, and outside sales efforts to meet/exceed revenue goals; manage multiple activities with strong organizational skills and represent the property at sales and marketing events.
Required Qualifications
- College degree preferred
- High School Diploma and/or 2-3 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Marriott brand experience preferred.
