Job Summary
Area Sales Consultant responsible for achieving annual sales quotas by promoting Heidelberg Engineering's ophthalmic imaging product portfolio, representing the company at symposiums/trade shows, educating customers on product value, collaborating with marketing, applications, and service teams, using Salesforce.com to manage leads and activities, generating quotes and coordinating billings/delivery details, and supporting installation and product training as needed. The role involves engaging customers, presenting to diverse audiences, and driving in-territory field sales and marketing activities such as seminars and webinars to promote products and solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in sales
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com
- Ability to generate and present quotes
- Experience educating customers on product value
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, applications, service)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
