Job Summary
Area Rotating Machinery Engineer to lead and optimize rotating equipment across Western Region plants, driving safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include identifying and implementing solutions for rotating machinery issues, leading maintenance and improvement projects, delivering Six Sigma-driven efficiency, and developing regional technical training. Requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical preferred), 7+ years of experience with industrial rotating equipment, strongRoot Cause Analysis and predictive maintenance skills, familiarity with regulatory standards, and proven leadership and communication capabilities. Six Sigma experience is a plus; Level II vibration analysis certification and CMMS (SAP PM) experience are bonus qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Engineering (preferably Mechanical)
- Minimum 7 years of experience with industrial rotating equipment (5+ years in operations and engineering)
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining rotating machinery (compressors, turbines, pumps, etc.)
- Root Cause Analysis and predictive maintenance methodologies
- Regulatory and industry standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and achieve results independently
- Six Sigma experience is a plus
- Level II vibration analysis certification (bonus)
- Air Separation experience and knowledge (bonus)
- CMMS experience (SAP PM preferred)
- Professional qualifications and licensing (license/certification)
