Area Refrigeration Service Manager

Job Summary
Lead field service supervisors and technicians in assigned territories to ensure service agreements are initiated, executed, and closed out within planned gross profit targets. Manage new agreement startups by assigning primary technicians, labeling units, and ensuring SOP compliance while evaluating equipment upgrades and safety concerns. Oversee quarterly load leveling evaluations, monitor completion status against monthly goals, and review APRs to recommend adjustments. Direct daily operations by coaching staff, recruiting technicians, developing annual training schedules, and maintaining skills matrices. Collaborate with sales, dispatch, and accounting teams to resolve invoice issues, manage pricing approvals, and develop yearly operations plans for budgeting. Maintain a safe, Lean work environment and participate in regular departmental review meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or management field involving leadership of direct reports or related experience in leading peers and teams
- Must have high level of knowledge of refrigeration and/or heating and air conditioning equipment
- Excellent customer relation and people skills
- Ability to multitask and shift from office work to field work as required
- High level of planning and organizing required
- Ability to communicate openly and honestly at all levels
- Ability to work through conflict and create win/ win results
- Proficient in using computers and digital tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to develop finance and budgeting skills
