Job Summary
Drive customer engagement and sales performance through effective in-person interactions across rare cardiac accounts. Build strong, compliant relationships with cardiology HCPs, multidisciplinary care teams, and office staff while delivering approved promotional and disease-state messaging to support appropriate product use. Leverage product, disease, and market knowledge to identify opportunities, prioritize accounts, and support patient finding and referral pathways. Support patient access by providing information on prior authorization requirements, reimbursement support, hubs, and co-pay resources. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address customer needs, remove access barriers, and advance Rare Cardiac business objectives. Use digital tools and insights to plan, execute, and optimize territory activities. This field-based role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to all accounts within the assigned territory, with overnight stays as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree OR an associate's degree with 8+ years of work experience OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of work experience
- Minimum of 3 years in one or more of the following: Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales
- Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device marketing
- Aligned therapeutic specific healthcare provider experience
- Valid US driver's license
- Driving record in compliance with company standards
- No DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years
Desired Qualifications
- 3–5 years of specialty sales experience
- Specialty sales experience, preferably in Cardiology, Hospital
- Strong understanding of complex disease states, biologics, and specialty reimbursement
- Experience engaging key opinion leaders and high-influence accounts
- Demonstrated business acumen, data-driven decision making, and strategic thinking
- Strong digital engagement capability (e.g., Veeva Engage, Zoom)
