Job Summary
Area Project Procurement Manager oversees procurement activities for a designated area of the project, developing area-specific procurement strategies, coordinating with the Area Project Manager and Engineering teams, leading supplier and market evaluations, negotiating contracts, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies to achieve cost savings and alignment with the overall project plan.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement management, ideally within large-scale projects in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing area-specific or partial project scopes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
