Job Summary
The Area Production Manager at Central Stone will oversee day-to-day production at multiple quarry locations, providing support to Superintendents to ensure safety and efficiency. The role includes mentoring staff, reviewing production reports, and coordinating maintenance plans. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the mining industry, exceptional communication skills, and a safety-oriented attitude. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with safety processes, conducting training for equipment operation, and participating in the hiring process for staff.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in the mining industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Safety-minded and goal-oriented
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to provide strong leadership to Superintendents
- Ability to dissect complex situations and determine cost effective solutions
- Ability to work independently or as an active team member
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
