Job Summary
Manage local and regional procurement processes from supplier qualification through performance management, including RFPs, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations. Coordinate purchasing activities, expediting purchase orders, and reconcile P-card spend while ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and company policies. Develop relationships with Facility Operations and Engineering teams to identify savings opportunities and optimize corporate inventory pools for maintenance spare parts. Lead weekly staff meetings, monthly open PO reviews, and site training on procurement systems, while conducting facility tours and walk-downs to assess supplier quality assurance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Supply Chain, Finance, or technical discipline
- 5-7+ years of procurement and supply management experience
- Comfort in working between office and highly industrial environments (heat, odor, etc....)
- High level of safety awareness and championship
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft ERP (or SAP)
- Knowledge of Project based planning tools like MS Project
- An ability to develop and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
- An understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modeling, contracts, and change management
- Strength in communicating crucial information to a variety of audiences with differing levels of expertise
- The ability to effectively conduct facility tours and walk-downs on a regular basis
- Travel approximately 30% on a semi-regular basis (may include overnight travel)

Desired Qualifications
- MBA, CPSM, and PMP certification
- Understanding of regional labor markets related to labor subcontracting and contract services
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft ERP (or SAP) and Project based planning tools like MS Project strongly preferred
