Job Summary
Demonstrate strong safety leadership by modeling safe work practices and strictly following plant safety guidelines. Provide leadership, support, and direction to empower 30-50 wage production operators to achieve common objectives in safety, machine availability, quality, delivery, and cost. Work effectively with maintenance, quality, and other teams to meet daily/annual performance goals and continuous improvement efforts. Promote environmental responsibility by fostering a culture that values sustainability and ensuring compliance with related requirements. Develop employees through coaching plans and performance management while monitoring facility succession needs. Facilitate the identification and implementation of process and team improvements, and coordinate with the supplier of forklift drivers to ensure smooth operations. This role supports a team rotating shifts 24 hours-7 days a week within the American Synthetic Rubber Company chemical plan in Louisville, KY.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

- Willingness to support 24 hours – 7 days operations as necessary

- Microsoft Excel data analysis proficiency
