Area Medical Director

Lead 10–15 clinics by owning clinical and operational performance, including quality of care, provider development, patient experience, and financial results while practicing medicine roughly 10 hours per week. Set and uphold quality and safety standards across your market, deliver evidence-based urgent care or primary care, and champion clinical initiatives like chronic disease recognition programs. Recruit, coach, and develop Center Medical Directors and providers, drive engagement and retention, and lead performance conversations using data-informed coaching. Own day-to-day operations such as patient flow, staffing models, and access, partner on P&L performance, and grow your market through community partnerships and referral relationships. Report regularly to national leadership on the state of your market with the autonomy to act on what you see.
