Job Summary
Area Manager focused on selling new business and expanding market share in assigned dealerships. Responsibilities include conducting 5-10 dealership visits to sign new dealerships, grow the application count with existing dealerships, review deals with dealer partners, structure or restructure as needed to fit the program, act as a consultant to F&I Managers to ensure profitability through UAC products, collaborate with Credit Analysts and Funders to ensure loan approvals and funding, work with Dealer Compliance to resolve issues, maintain dealer relationships, provide best-in-class service to dealer customers, and perform other duties as assigned. Core competencies include adaptability, business acumen, customer service, dependability, interpersonal skills, judgment, motivation, oral and written communication, persuasiveness, professionalism. Qualifications emphasize 2-5 years in sales with auto finance/dealership experience, and willingness to travel daily (home-based work plus on-the-road dealership calls). One must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance; proficiency in MS Office suite is noted.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years previous experience in a challenging sales role with a proven track record of success
- Previous experience in Auto Finance sales and underwriting or dealership experience
- Sub-prime auto finance experience highly preferred
- A valid driver’s license reliable transportation and auto insurance are required
