Area Manager Trainee - Hayward, CA

Area Manager Trainee role in Hayward, CA with Woodgrain. Responsible for learning and performing in-store service, managing inventory replenishment (ordering and stocking), generating weekly credits, and delivering exceptional customer service within a defined territory across high-volume national accounts. Will cover service calls when regular representatives are away, handling 2-3 stores per day, with travel up to 4-8 days per month. Tasks include cleaning aisles, restocking displays, culling damaged items, merchandising, maintaining signage and pricing, replenishing inventory per guidelines, and building strong relationships with store management and staff. Requires valid driver’s license, ability to provide own vehicle, and capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
