Job Summary
Coordinate and implement high-quality traffic control services while supervising field staff in Dispatch, Fleet, and on-site requirements. Manage client relationships, investigate complaints, and collaborate with Operations and General Management to distribute work efficiently and address relief needs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, labor relations, and collective agreements through education, training, and direct liaison with Human Resources and Occupational Health and Safety. During critical project phases, work outside normal business hours and rotate shifts to meet project timelines and client needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction management experience
- Equivalent work experience to 2 years construction management
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Ability to multi-task and effectively meet deadlines
- Experience in addressing conduct and performance issues with geographically dispersed field employees
- Well versed in all safety regulations as it relates to traffic management, its service, and facility
- Available to work outside normal business hours during critical project phases
- Expected to move shifts around to see clients and employees who work shifts outside of regular business hours
Desired Qualifications
- Construction industry experience
- Previous traffic control experience
- Valid WorkSafeBC Traffic Control Person ticket
